Mrs. Parker teaches 2nd grade at Williams Township School in Columbus County. She has
been teaching for 11 years, 8 of those years have been at Williams. She has a Masters Degree in Elementary Education
and has her Mentoring license.
Kim Parker's Personal Side
Mrs. Parker grew up in Nakina, North Carolina. She
went to Nakina High School. Upon high school graduation she attended Southeastern Community College, during which
time she received an Associate's Degree in Arts. She later received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from
the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. After acquiring her degree in education she began substitute teaching
and applying for teaching positions. While working as an Assistant Teacher, she met and married Bradley Parker.
Later she began working in Brunswick County teaching 1st grade while also attending Coastal Carolina University and received
a Master's in Elementary Education. After teaching in Brunswick County for three years, she was hired at Williams Township
in Columbus County, where she is still teaching. At the present time she and her husband have one child, a 6 year old
little girl named RaeAnna.
